Technique Week

04 FEBRUARY 2023

Are you an intermediate to advanced skier who wants the opportunity to challenge yourself and to develop your skiing to a higher level? If so, our Technique week is for you!

One of the joys of skiing is the feeling of satisfaction when you execute a beautifully carved turn or stylishly negotiate a set of tricky bumps.  A qualified local instructor will be working exclusively with Richmond guests throughout the week, providing advice on how to improve your technique as well as guiding the group around the slopes. No more time wasted scrutinising piste maps and no more wondering whether the skiing tips freely supplied by friends or family are going to help or hinder your progress!
Our dedicated instructor will be at your service to develop different aspects of your skiing such as carving, moguls or off-piste (if snow conditions are suitable). We aim to provide 2.5 hours each day with an instructor.

Just to note…

  • You will need to be comfortable skiing on red runs in order to benefit from the tuition.
  • Whilst snowboarders are welcome to join us for this week, the instruction and guiding will be exclusively available to skiers.
A professional instructor from Oxygene will be providing the ski tuition and guiding around the Three Valleys. The Oxygene ski school is a family-run traditional French ski school, with a mission to help improve the skiing for everyone – all abilities and all ages!  In addition to our dedicated ski instructor for the week, Richmond’s own Sheridan Brown will be attending both Technique weeks. He will lead review sessions and share some evening tips to help you get the most of your week.
Sherian Brown Profile - Ski

The mountains are my favourite place to be, especially in the winter, and the joy of skiing is, for me, profound. Everyone can benefit from some supportive ski teaching and guiding and Richmond’s technique weeks provide great opportunities to improve in the company of others. I’m really looking forward to meeting up with Richmond friends, old and new, as we continue our skiing journey together.
