Chalet des Neiges is in the fantastic Reberty Village. This purpose-built ski village is at 2000m altitude and our chalet is right beside a blue run allowing for instant piste access.

Chalet Elise is nestled in the charming Bettaix Village. This typically French village is very peaceful and has the gentle Doron river winding through the middle.

Matthew Dietz

January 2020

Matthew is a Chaplain in the Army, currently serving as Padre with 1st Battalion Welsh Guards, based in Windsor.  He is married to Marion, and they have 4 children - Chloe (19), Gregory (17), Barnaby (15) and Timothy (10).  Together with Marley the dog, and Tiger & Thor the cats, their family home is in Taunton, Somerset where Matthew was a School Chaplain, before becoming a Padre. It was in the Army that Matthew developed a passion for skiing (both Alpine and Nordic) and he was Regimental Skiing Officer.  Matthew is no stranger to Richmond, having served as a Ministry Leader every year since 2008, and he can't wait to get back on the slopes!  Read more

Chris & Claire Moy

January 2020

Chris and Claire have been married for 33 years and have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.  Chris became a Christian in 1982 at St. Helens, Bishopsgate and since they have been active members of Frinton Free Church. Chris and Claire both regularly play in the worship band where Claire leads and Chris plays the cello. Chris also leads a weekly House group Bible studies, and together have both led youth work. Doug & Fiona Russell

March 2020

Fiona and Doug live in the west side of Edinburgh within easy reach of the city centre and countryside. Doug works as a freelance design engineer and Fiona divides her work life between Edinburgh City Mission and oil painting. They enjoy friendships, travel, skiing, cycling, good food, art, photography, and music. They have been Christians since their teenage years and their faith shapes their lives. Read more

Helen Morris

February 2020

Helen is a lecturer in Applied Theology at Moorlands College and is the course leader for the College’s BA programmes. Alongside working at the College, Helen is involved in the worship band at her local church and preaches in both her own church and others in the area. Helen is passionate about seeing people grow in their relationship with God and find freedom and transformation in Christ. She also enjoys doing a vast range of recreational activities in God’s creation. Read more

Jonny Abbott

December 2019-January 2020

Jonny has been a leader at The Forge Community Church for the past 5 years. Here he leads one of their three church campus’ in Suffolk. Jonny trained for ministry and graduated from Moorlands Bible College and is now studying for his MA in Theology and Christian Leadership. Jonny has a passion for building churches that un-churched people love to be part of and communicating to people about Jesus. Coffee and mighty Liverpool FC are amongst his favourite pastimes. Nick & Pam Jackson

March 2020

Nick is married to Pam and father to two grown-up sons.  Formerly a Mathematics teacher and then IT Manager in commerce, Ian came to ordained ministry later in life with a lot of different experiences under his belt.  Ian loves music, skiing, messing about in and by the sea and keeping fit.  He has been lucky enough to travel to lots of interesting places, whilst enjoying a good coffee with a good book!  Read more

Ben grew up in Portsmouth, and currently lives in a village near Cambridge, where he has been working as a youth minister for St James Church. He sees it as a great privilege to have so many opportunities to share the good news of Jesus with children, families and young people through his ministry at Sunday services and youth groups! James and Melanie have shared a life of faith for 40 years. They have been involved in St Mary’s Longfleet for the past 14 years which is large Anglican church in Poole. James is on the regular teaching team and they jointly lead a Life Group. They both enjoy studying the Bible and finding creative ways to communicate its message in a way that is relevant for 21st century living. Read more

Ian & Jan Harrison

January 2020

Ian and Jan have been married for 47 years and have 3 sons 6 grandchildren. They have been involved in numerous roles as members of Frinton Free Church, including church leadership, youth leadership, music, small groups, and prayer ministry. Since retirement from medicine Ian has been helping to lead our local churches summer holiday mission – ‘Frinton Mission’. They have worked as ministry leaders with Richmond Holidays every ski season since 2011/12. Read more

Richard Meryon

January-February 2020

30 years in the Royal Navy as both an Engineer and an active Christian, Richard served in seven frontline warships, finally as the Chief Engineer of HMS ARK ROYAL. Now with there being no retirement in the work of the Kingdom, he is living in Bath, working among Iraqi Christians sheltering from ISIS in Jordan, and enjoying all their children and 4 grandchildren. He loves skiing and sailing, he plays tennis and squash and enjoys playing the oboe, saxophone, and piano. Read more

Ski Extras

Our chalets are closest to Chambery Airport or Moutiers train station but there are many travel options to consider.

Avoid queuing at the lift pass office on your first morning: book your lift pass in advance with Richmond.

Pre-order your skis with Richmond to minimise time spent in the shop and maximise time on the slopes.

Take the hassle out of your lesson arrangements and pre-book to secure your place in the right group for you.

Richmond offers a range of services for children aged 3 to 12 to ensure you all get the most from your time away.

There are so many activities to enjoy during your Richmond holiday other than skiing and snowboarding!
