Samos - Greece

Samos is a stunning unspoilt Greek Island. The family-run Zefiros Beach hotel is home to Richmond’s resort here where we offer a range of activities including biking, watersports (at our RYA accredited centre), tennis, dancing and trips to explore this Greek delight.

BIKE LEADER AND BOAT MAINTENANCE (SEPTEMBER AND EARLY OCTOBER 2022)

To maintain a safe and professional fleet of bikes for use by guests (MTBs and hybrid).

To organise and accompany guests on bike excursions from the hotel.

To work confidently and independently.

To support the Resort Manager in the smooth running of the resort and the Waterfront Manager by delivering craft maintenance tasks (under instruction)

Applicants must have knowledge and experience in bike maintenance. Qualifications and experience as a bike guide would be desirable.

TEENS WORKER / ACTIVITIES REP

11 to 31 Aug – Teens Worker
01 Sept to 13 Oct – Activities

This split role will focus initially on youth work and activities for 13-17 year olds before moving to take responsibility for the biking and watersports support.

Applicants must have relevant and recent kids and teens work experience and a natural aptitude to outdoor sports including biking and sailing.

WATERSPORTS INSTRUCTOR (JULY & AUGUST)

Running the beach on a rota system, and constantly being aware of the safety of guests, and that they are being looked after and well served.

Running courses and sessions within your qualifications and capabilities as directed by the Waterfront Manager.

Ensure that kit is well looked after and maintained, undertaking simple repair jobs as instructed by the Waterfront Manager.

Applicants must hold both RYA Windsurf Instructor qualification and RYA Dingy Instructor qualifications.

French Alps

Our picturesque alpine chalet is buzzing throughout July and August with access to mountain peaks over 3200m and activities including mountain and road biking, hiking, white water rafting, climbing, paragliding, horseriding, archery, and much more. This year the Tour de France passes near us twice during July which always results in excitement and much festivities!

French Alps Roles

FRENCH ALPS CHEF (JUNE TO SEPTEMBER)

Your role is to deliver an outstanding culinary experience in our chalets that elicits excellent feedback from guests. You will be responsible for the management, financial controls and food hygiene practices within the kitchen. Working as part of our chalet team and using Richmond’s menu plan as a base you will provide meals for around 20 to 40 people each day.

    EU Passport holders do not require a visa to work however, UK passport holders will require a visa and work permit. Richmond will provides support for these applications but they are personal to each applicant and it remains your responsibility to obtain the required visa.
