Fast Track Programme Participants
Dates and Duration

2025 – 19 May to 10 July (7 Weeks)

The Course

The Fast Track is designed to take those who enjoy watersports and are interested in becoming dinghy sailing instructors through the various RYA sailing levels and powerboating qualifications, all the way to becoming fully qualified Dinghy Instructors with real-life experience. It gives you the opportunity to work alongside our qualified team in an operational RYA training centre on the stunning Greek island of Samos! The Course culminates in the RYA Dinghy Instructor Course which is held at the start of July. We bring an external RYA Coach Assessor to the resort to deliver this course which last 5 days.

What Next?

We are delighted to have a 100% pass rate from those who have completed the Richmond Fast Track! We are so confident in the quality of our programme that we guarantee you a job with us once you have completed your Dinghy Instructor qualification (this includes signing off of any action plan you may be given). This is, of course, optional but offers you a great opportunity to gain immediate employment experience with your new qualification.

Looking further ahead, many of our “Fast Trackers” return to Richmond year after year to put their skills into practice, helping guests make the most of the joys of watersports on their holidays! In fact, many of the instructors you will work with, will have started their journey on the Richmond Fast Track! In the winter, Richmond operates a ski chalet in the French Alps, if you love the Richmond culture in summer, this might be something you’d like to look at to continue your career with more of a hospitality focus.

Why Richmond?

We are passionate about enabling people to make the most of their holiday through watersports and our staff do just that for the many guests who holiday with us each year. This course is designed to be a really accessible way for you to obtain the qualifications required to be part of that team. As a Christian holiday company, you will join our team to start each day in prayer and have the support of our Ministry Leaders during your course.

Cost

The course costs £3,495 including travel from the UK, food and accommodation as well as all the training modules.

We are looking for the very best applicants and have heavily subsidised the course to ensure it remains as accessible as possible to those looking at a career with Richmond and in water sports. You simply won’t find a better price for this full programme.
