Thea is a newly appointed Vicar in Farnborough, who enjoys getting outside playing sport, growing vegetables and eating cake – she also learnt to ski on a Richmond holiday. She’s married to Joe, and together they share a love for the snowy mountain views, bluebird skies and exploring the valleys. There’s nothing better than a cold beer on the veranda and a chat about the big questions of life.

Thea and Joe are passionate about Jesus, especially making connections between life and faith, and whether it’s around the fire pit, sharing a delicious dinner at the table, walking in the woods or relaxing on the sofa playing a board game, there’s always a good laugh to be shared.

Thea grew up in Winchester and before Ordination completed a degree in Sociology at Warwick University, raced at Henley and has travelled extensively, from working with women’s cooperatives in Honduras, to representing the Archbishop of Canterbury on cricket tour to the Vatican, to growing deanery links in South-West Uganda. She completed her curacy in Woking and served as an associate Vicar before taking up her current role as Vicar at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Thea loves grappling with scripture, building community through relationships and encouraging young women and men in their walk with Christ.
