Maria Fox serves as a Chief Superintendent in UK policing. She joined Greater Manchester Police in 1994 after completing a Theology degree at the University of Manchester. Following her studies, she expected to embark on a journey of full time Christian ministry, but the Lord had other vocational plans. She has been a serving officer for over 29 years, serving as a senior leader for 18 of those. Prior to Autumn of 2020 she also served as a senior leader in her Church family, Kingdom Advance Network, in Burton on Trent. In 2020 Maria faced a perfect storm “health-wise” and thought her police career was over. Suffering from acute stress, burnout, obesity and a heart issue, she made a remarkable recovery, returning to work, reversing her heart issue and transforming her health.

It was from this springboard that she went on to be promoted at work and become a published author of what has become a No 1 best-selling book on Amazon “Crisis to Comeback”, written to help others navigate their own health journey – spiritually, physically and mentally.

Now, primarily focused on the final season of her policing career, she is passionate about Kingdom based leadership influence and is a gifted minister, teacher, and accredited coach. Regardless of the sphere – work, church, sport, health – Maria is an inspirational leader who enjoys equipping others, supporting them to flourish and achieve their potential. She is gifted in helping others to hear the voice of God better and has developed a good understanding of the prophetic “times and seasons” in which we live. She is a keen sportswoman with a love of the outdoors and is a qualified fitness instructor and metabolic coach. Maria likes to seize the day and make every day count!
