Greg Downes is the Founder, Director and a Trustee of Kingfisher Ministries Charity. Kingfisher Ministries was launched to provide Evangelism and Training in the UK and Worldwide. Greg has had the joy of preaching on all six (inhabited) continents. He is married to Tamie, and they have two daughters
Steve and Chrissie have been married over 34 years and have 4 adult children. Steve is a full-time Christian Counsellor and a qualified Mental Health First Aider. He is passionate about intentional men’s ministry. Chrissie is a nurse, currently, supporting the needs of the homeless and those struggling with the impact of addiction. They both both love prayer ministry, supporting marriages and caring for people.
Rob and Rachel live in the Lake District, where he is an Anglican priest at St Thomas’ Church in Kendal. Rob is an avid songwriter, occasional cyclist and has a love/hate relationship with DIY. Rachel is caring and creative – and restless without a project on the go! They have 3 grown up children.
Simon Farmer is married to Rachel and they have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Simon has been an army chaplain for 30 years and is now involved with the Anglican church in South Devon where they live. Rachel is a Communications Consultant with SU International and a writer. They both love skiing, sailing yachts and walking.
Mark Simmons grew up in Oldham, Lancashire and became a Christian at the age of 14. He’s currently Associate Pastor at Stanley Road Baptist Church, Morecambe. Mark loves sport (he has been a Manchester United supporter since he was 10!), music, travel, and food – if he can incorporate any of these into his ministry then he’s a happy man!
Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica Dalton came to England at 9 and became a Christian aged 16 at a Boys Brigade camp. He’s married to Sarah and they have three grown up children. He loves watching cricket, football, rugby and play table tennis. Sadly, he lost one of his brothers aged 21 in a tragic accident, since then he’s had a greater desire to speak to people about Jesus and the brevity of life.
Tom is married to Gin (an adult speech and language therapist), and they have three children. Tom is a Church of England minister who leads a church plant on an estate in North Oxford. Tom also serves in the British Army Reserves as an Army Chaplain. When not playing sport, Tom enjoys time with the family, good food, and riding his motorbike.
Peter is currently the Director of Mission for Guildford Diocese having been a vicar of a thriving town centre church in Woking for 17 years. Before that he used to be a doctor specialising in palliative/terminal care of people with AIDS in London. He loves to see people equipped & released into serving God better wherever they are called.
Lorraine has been an ordained Church of England minister for the past few years, since stepping down as the founding CEO of the charity initiative Toilet Twinning. She’s married to Vern, and they live in Bournemouth, where they enjoy being outdoors, celebrating the beauty of God’s creation.
Phil is Senior Minister of Central Baptist Church, Chelmsford, a large multi-national church and is an avid Everton fan!
Prior to Chelmsford he Pastored two churches in the South West, worked as a Youth & Children’s Minister in several others and had jobs with both Youth For Christ and the Baptist Missionary Society.
