Jonathon has been ordained in the Church of England since 2011, and currently serves as Force Lead Chaplain for Devon & Cornwall Police, where he oversees spiritual support and wellbeing for officers and staff across the region.
His ministry experience spans schools, universities, hospitals, prisons and parishes reflecting a passion for community engagement and pastoral care. He trained for ordination at St Mellitus College, London and has a particular interest in EDI, wellbeing, social justice and neurodiversity advocacy—shaped by his own journey as an ADHDer. He is also an active board member of the National Disabled Police Association, helping to drive strategy for disability equity in UK policing.
Jonathon is married to Emma, they have four sons and a lively cocker spaniel called Louie, so life is busy and blessed. Outside ministry, he loves the outdoors and fitness. He is a qualified personal trainer and enjoys sea swimming, dog walking, cooking and family time. He’s looking forward to meeting you and sharing the adventure and encouragement of faith during your holiday with Richmond.
