Jude and Ian have been married for 35 years and came to faith in Christ in their early twenties. Their Christian faith has been at the heart of their family life, work and ministry ever since. They have served in a variety of church and ministry settings.

They both have a particular heart for pastoral ministry and love encouraging people in their faith, listening to their stories and helping people feel welcome and at home. They have been involved in Christian teaching, led Alpha and the Marriage Course, and are both part of the Prayer Ministry Team at Chichester Baptist Church. Together, they have been closely involved with a Christian retreat centre in Austria, where they hosted house parties and retreats.

Jude previously worked in school leadership and teacher-training and is now a funeral celebrant. Ian recently retired after 44 years in the automotive industry.

Outside church life, Jude and Ian love skiing, the mountains, good food, hospitality and laughter. They have two adult children and love connecting with people of all ages and stages of life. They are looking forward to sharing the mountains, faith, friendship and fun with Richmond guests.
