Helen became a Christian in her early twenties whilst working onboard Cruise Liners in the Caribbean (a testimony of God’s father heart – she’d be happy to share with you!). Through numerous life experiences “abiding” in the Lord has been her strength. Helen has lead ministry for Richmond for the past 7 years, and is the founder of #liloministries! She has worked as a qualified youth worker and lecturer in a variety of settings including: the local church, the voluntary, statutory and education sectors. Helen now works for the international charity ‘Safe Families.’

Rog has experience of leading ministry and hosting with a number of tour operators . He has served at Bournemouth Community Church for 27 years and as Senior Team Pastor for the last 15 years. He’s passionate about raising leaders and disciples who take risks for Jesus, knowing the Lord as their Father. Rog was married for nearly 30 years until his wife Sarah died in 2017, having fought her battle with cancer for 17 years. He has two grown up children, both of whom are married and one granddaughter.

Rog loves being creative, making things, dogs, motorbikes, gardening, coffee, wine and walking. Helen likes all these things but would add sunshine and substitute motorbikes for dancing, and chocolate! Helen and Rog have known each other for over 30 years and now as a couple, are looking froward to meeting guests and staff and seeing what amazing things God has in store for this next Richmond Adventure!
