What is the Richmond Fast Track (FT) Programme?

The Richmond Holidays FT Programme gives you the opportunity to be a part of our vision to provide outstanding, Christ-centred holidays, bringing believers together in incredible locations around the world. This programme allows you to gain experience and watersports qualifications, learn new skills and live as part of a supportive Christian community that encourages, challenges and inspires.

The programme also gives you the opportunity to develop your Christian faith with regular input from our Ministry team as well as giving you the skills you require if you wish to continue a career with Richmond or use them in other areas.

The Content

The Fast Track is designed to take those interested in becoming a watersports instructor through the various RYA sailing levels and powerboating qualifications and all the way to Assistant Dinghy Instructor. It gives you a hands-on experience, working alongside a qualified team running an operational RYA training centre. The course gives you a great opportunity to develop your personal sailing and windsurfing skills, as well as gaining qualifications in a real-world environment.

You will have experience shadowing and even leading RYA courses so will have the best preparation for the Dinghy Instructor Course. We are delighted that so many of those who complete the Richmond Fast Track pass their Instructor course with flying colours and then put the skills to use by joining the Richmond team as employed staff members.

What Next?

You are now ready to take your Dinghy Instructor qualification! Once you have this, you can start your career as a qualified and experienced RYA Dinghy Instructor! We are so pleased that many past “Fast Trackers” return to Richmond year after year to put their skills into practice, helping guests make the most of the joys of watersports on their holidays!
