Jo and Andy met in their early 20’s when they both worked at a Christian outdoor centre in North Wales. They shared a love for Jesus and for outdoor adventures. They have been married for 28 years and have 4 young adult children – their oldest is Lucy who is managing the ski chalet with her husband Jonny in 2026/7! Andy stayed in outdoor education for many years until God called him into Anglican ordained ministry, which was an unexpected development as Jo had made him promise he’d never be ordained before she agreed to marry him! Even more surprising was when God then also called Jo into ordained ministry.

Andy was ordained in 2018 which led to them leaving their beloved Cumbria where they had lived for 15 years. They have spent the past 8 years ministering in Leicestershire and now Northamptonshire. Jo is currently finishing off her curacy and will then be taking up a role as a prison chaplain. Andy is a parish priest in a rural benefice in Northamptonshire.

They spend their holidays escaping back to the mountains and/or the sea where they enjoy walking, camping, climbing, via ferrata, and skiing. They are delighted that their 4 children have all found their own love for the outdoors and for Jesus!
