Oxygene

This season, Richmond are partnering exclusively with Oxygene Ski and Snowboard School!

Based in Reberty Village, the superb English-speaking Oxygene team are firm favourites with many Richmond guests. Their instructors host our Learn to Ski and Ski Technique weeks and their group lessons throughout the season are exclusively aimed at English speaking groups.

You can pre-book your morning group lessons with Oxygene through Richmond. Lessons start right outside the Richmond chalet so it’s a hassle free way to start to your day!

Non-Skier Activities

Reberty village is an amazing place to stay for your next winter holiday, regardless of whether you would like to ski or not! From taking things slowly in order to soak up the incredible views, to trying out some exciting activities such as snow-shoeing, there is something for everyone on a Richmond Holiday spent in Chalet des Neiges.

In the Chalets…

Our chalet has two saunas and two wonderful outside hot tubs which look out onto the Alps and can be used throughout the day. Additionally, our comfortable lounges, where complimentary tea and coffee is available throughout the day, offer great spaces to relax, read a book, and enjoy the ambience of being in the mountains.

In the local area…

A number of the chairlifts can be used by everyone, whether skiing or not. These lifts take you further up the mountain, where you can enjoy stunning views over the valley. We arrange daily lunch-meets in mountain restaurants, easily accessible on foot! Come along and take the opportunities over the week to meet up with others staying in the chalet to enjoy a mountainside pizza, crepe, soup or tartiflette!

There are regular buses that can take you to the local towns of Les Menuires, Saint Martin de Belleville and Val Thorens. Here, you can browse local shops, enjoy a coffee and patisserie in one of the many cafés and take in the ambience of a bustling mountain village. The frequent, free bus system is particularly easy to use as the bus stop is only 100m from Chalet des Neiges.

If you enjoy being in the outdoors, then you can make the most of the fantastic location of the chalets and enjoy a number of picturesque walks.

In the nearby town of Les Menuires and village of Bruyères, there are sports centres each with a large pool, wellness centre and indoor sporting activities.

If you fancy trying out a different alpine sport, then cross-country skiing or snow-shoeing is available – please see the Les Menuires local walking map for an idea of some fantastic routes to try.
