It also includes a schedule for all the great activities and excursions we have on offer for you this week! We cannot wait to host you and enjoy some amazing fellowship together.

Zefiros Beach Hotel Timings & Information
There will be a member of Zefiros staff at the hotel reception available to help you all day from 07:00 – 24:00. To speak to the hotel reception from the phone in your room just dial 9.
A Richmond Team Member will be based at the Richmond desk in the hotel Reception area from 09:00 – 10:00 and 17:00 – 18:00 each day (excluding Sunday morning) and where you can fin more information, book excursions, sign up for activities, order a taxi or answer any questions you might have to maximise your holiday experience.

Beach sunbeds are available for €3.50 for the day and pool sunbeds are free!
For the pool and beach, towels can be hired from reception for a €5 deposit. These can be changed throughout the week.

There is a Zefiros shuttle bus that runs from the hotel into the local towns of Pythagorio & Samos Town (Vathy) on alternating days. This runs Monday to Saturday and is a brilliant way to see more of this gorgeous island! Sign up in reception from 14:00 the day before.

We recommend you don’t drink the tap water here. You can purchase bottled water at the hotel bars and tthe water available at breakfast and dinner is from bottled water.
We ask that you don’t flush toilet paper down the toilets as it blocks the system. Instead, kindly place in the bins provided.

Ministry
Throughout your stay we will be gathering together to enjoy times of fellowship, worship, teaching and prayer.
Each morning, we invite you to join us to start the day in prayer on the beach at 08:00. This is 15-20 minutes starting with a short bible study, verse or devotion topic from the Ministry Leader followed by a time of prayer. Bring a bible and a coffee if you like.
In the evenings Ministry time will begin with a time of sung worship led by the Richmond team (but please do chat to the Rep team if you would like to join!) where we have the words projected. This is followed by a short teaching from this week’s Ministry Leader.
Our heart for Ministry is for it to be a space where you can reconnect with God, learn from His Word and for us to spend time in praise and thanksgiving together on this stunning Greek island. It’s a truly beautiful time and we encourage you to press into what God has for you while you are in this special place
When: Each evening of the week apart from Tuesday.
Where: In the room on the terrace in May, June, September and October or in the room adjacent to the buffet in July and August.
Time: 18:30 for 45 minutes on Friday, Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays. On Sundays we gather at 10:00 on the Terrace for a Communion service in place of the evening session and on Thursdays, we enjoy a shorter worship session from 18:45.
Do I have to go? We would love you to join us for ministry but as with all the activities, this is your holiday and you are welcome to join with as much or as little as you like.
Watersports
We have a brilliant range of water-based activities on offer for you to enjoy during your stay and they are all included in the cost of your holiday. Whether it’s a gentle kayak or paddleboard along the coast, a hair-raising blast on a windsurf or a first-time voyage in a dinghy, our waterfront team love to share their passion for the sea with you! The Watersports Centre is open every day, weather permitting!
If you would like to use the waterfront this week, please ensure you attend our Watersports briefing.
A week in Mykali Bay is a great excuse to learn a new skill on the water! Whether you’re new to sailing or windsurfing or would like to brush up on advanced sailing techniques, talk to our Watersports Team at the welcome meeting to find out which courses or clinics would suit you and sign up to secure your spot!
Not sure what takes your fancy? Our free taster sessions on Friday are a great opportunity to try our sailing or windsurfing for the first time before committing to the full course.
In addition to the lessons and courses described above, we can also offer joy rides throughout the week as well as specific tuition (clinics) for techniques both for sailing and windsurfing.
Bikes

We have a range of mountain bikes, hybrid bikes and new for 2026, e-bikes available for you to throughout your holiday. It’s a perfect way to see some of the gorgeous nearby beaches and bays and to stay fit whilst doing it!
Want to venture without a map? Our team will lead a variety of bike rides of different distances, durations, elevations and road surfaces for you to explore the beautiful Samos island.
Fancy a more bespoke route or have a particular destination in mind? You are welcome to take a bike and go adventure! Try out some of our favourite routes on Strava or Komoot by scanning the QR codes at the Bike Cente or visiting our route site. Please make ensure you will be back by 19:00.
If you would like to use the bikes this week, please attend our bike briefing at the bike centre.
There is a small cost for using the e-bikes.

Activities
As well as our fantastic waterfront and fleet of bikes, we have some other games/activities for you to enjoy!
The tennis court is at the back of the hotel – it is there for your leisure and enjoyment! It’s a great chance to grab a couple of fellow guests and play a game. The rackets and tennis balls are stored in the Bike Centre, so please help yourself whenever you would like and kindly return them when you are finished.
Table tennis can be found on the terrace of the hotel and is free to use. You can find a basket of bats and ping pong balls nearby, please return the bats and balls to this basket when you are finished.
Want to keep moving during your holidays, join us for a fun aqua aerobics session in the pool or an early morning stretch class on the terrace. Check the weekly schedule to see what’s on offer this week.
Next to the Richmond Desk in the Hotel Reception there is a collection of great games and puzzles for your enjoyment. The terrace is the perfect place to tackle a puzzle in an afternoon or gather a few people together group for a game of Dobble or Monopoly Deal.
We also have a Giant Jenga set, croquet and SpikeBall which you are welcome to use, we’d recommend the grassy area behind the pool bar for this!
We have a ‘book swap’ just next to the Richmond Desk. Please feel free to read any books that you find and leave any you would prefer not to carry home with you so that our library continues to change and grow.
Swimming Pool
We would love you to make use of the swimming pool during your stay and we will help you make the most of it by hosting some aqua aerobics sessions and pool games throughout the week.
- The pool is open from 10:00-19:00
- Kindly shower before entering the pool
- The sunbeds around the pool are free for you to use
- We welcome and encourage inflatables and pool toys – the more the merrier!
- The pool depth is 1.4m throughout the whole pool, there is no ‘deep end’
- Please be aware that the pool is unsupervised at all times, if your children are using the pool make sure you know where they are and if they are staying within their depth
- Please take care getting into and out of the pool – use the handrail provided
- If you are not a strong swimmer, we recommend you do not swim alone
- The marble tiling around the hotel and especially around the pool becomes very slippery when wet so please take extra care
- We would love you to enjoy a drink by the pool although the hotel do ask that there are no bottles or glass used around the pool area except by the tables
- No running around the pool
- No bombing
- No jumping from the bridge
- No shoes in the pool
