How do I get to the chalet?
The majority of our guests choose to fly to one of the nearby airports at Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble or Lyon. A range of public and private transfer options are available as well as car hire.
We operate transfers between the chalet and Chambery airport, as well as Moutiers train station for those who like to travel by train.
Driving is also popular and once in Calais, it is around a 9-hour drive to the chalet.

Richmond Transfers – Chambery Airport: 12 Dec 2026 – 17 Apr 2027
Our transfer service is exclusive to Richmond guests and provides a direct link between Chambery Airport and the chalet. There are limited spaces available so please contact us using the form below to check availability before you book your flights.
Public Coach Transfers – Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble Airports to Les Menuires
The two public transfer companies that many guests and our staff have used over the years are Altibus and Ben’s Bus. Both of these companies offer transfers between Geneva and Lyon to Les Menuires and Ben’s Bus also offers transfers between Grenoble and Les Menuires.
From Les Menuires, there is a free resort bus which runs between 08:00-23:00 each day. Simply take the Circuit A – Circuit de Reberty and travel to Necou for Chalet des Neiges, Reberty.
If your transfer is due to depart before 08:30 on the final day of your holiday, we can provide a free shuttle in the Richmond van. We will run up to 3 shuttles to Les Menuires Gare Routière between 04:00 and 07:30, please pre-book to ensure availability and consider leaving a tip for the kind chalet team who will be driving these early morning transfers!
Private Transfers
Private transfers are exclusive to you and your group, avoiding the need to wait for other guests who may arrive on different flights. Whilst a private transfer does tend to come at a higher cost than public transfers, you gain the convenience of the door-to-door service bespoke to your flight.
Our partner, Mountain Express can provide these transfers using their experienced drivers and licenced fleet of vehicles. Use our code RICHMOND for a discount when booking. Other transfer companies are available too including AlpyBus and CoolBus.
Driving
Driving from the UK has become an increasingly popular way of travelling to resort. Les Menuires is around 600 miles from Calais and usually takes around 9 to 10 hours to drive – depending on traffic and heavy snowfall. Driving tends to be the most cost-effective way of travelling to resort for a family or group.
There is free parking at the edge of Reberty village, within 100m of the chalet. Alternatively, there is the option of chargeable underground car parking in Reberty Village and in the centre of Les Menuires. If you would like to book the Reberty parking, please contact us to reserve your space.

Train To Moutiers
The Eurostar link between London St Pancras and Paris opens up numerous train links to the Alps. The final destination, at the foot of the Three Valleys, is Moutiers Salins-Brides-Les-Bains.
For those looking for a longer break, there is a new route from London St Pancras to Moutiers Salins-Brides-Les-Bains via Lille, which returns to London on Sundays. Ski the last day of your holiday before heading back down to Moutiers Saturday afternoon to stay overnight before the morning train!
You can book either of these train journeys on the Eurostar website. Alternatively, the websites of RailEurope, Trainline and SNCF all provide ticket prices and timings with online booking.
Richmond Transfer to the Chalet
We offer a morning and evening transfer each week, exclusive to Richmond guests, providing a direct link between the train station and the chalet. There are limited spaces available so please contact us using the form below to check availability before booking your travel.
Bus to the Chalet
From Moutiers train station, there is a bus service to Les Menuires ski resort with Altibus. The journey takes approximately one hour and upon arrival in Les Menuires, you can take the free resort shuttle bus to the chalet (operating 08:00-23:00). Simply take the Circuit A – Circuit de Reberty and travel to Necou for Chalet des Neiges, Reberty.
Transfer/Taxi to the Chalet
There are a number of transfer companies who offer pre-booked services from Moutiers to the chalet. Some that our guests have previously used include:

Fly
Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble and Chambery Airports are all within approximately 3 hours drive of the chalet.
Each of these airports have good car hire services allowing for flexible travel plans. Cars hired at these locations during the winter season are usually supplied with winter tyres for better grip on snow. Do ensure that you also reserve snow chains if they don’t come included as standard to ensure a hassle-free journey to the chalet.
