Each morning in the hotel, Jane will meet for an hour or so with those who choose to join the session, There will be some fun ice-breaker exercises to help you to shed self-consciousness and find your own talent. For those who want to give more holiday-time to writing, Jane will introduce a subject and, the following day, there will be an optional time to hear how differently the subject has been tackled by the different writers. What is guaranteed is that the sessions will be stimulating, interesting and will lead you to look forward to the next time
About Jane Grayshon
Jane has a vivacious personality and she has brought her sharp sense of humour to her writing, her former broadcasting, and of course to each of the weeks of Creative Writing that she has led for people on holiday. If you know her Confessions of a Vicar’s Wife you will know that she writes in a lighthearted way about some of the moments we humans can take rather too seriously.
However, Jane’s own experience of prolonged pain, combined with her ruthless honesty and questioning, means that she communicates with a depth that has been deeply appreciated by many people, both Christians and those who have not yet found God. Her autobiographical book A Pathway through Pain is a Christian classic. Jane now lives with her husband in west London. Her “children” have grown up.
