The chalet was spotless, the meals were wonderful and I never saw Sunita with anything less than a broad smile. Brian and Brenda were selfless in their dedication to both the team and the guests. Equipment Hire
Richmond will arrange your hire from a comprehensive range of skis - Bronze package, Silver range, or Gold for advanced skiers for off-piste and racing. Our shops are all conveniently located for our chalets.
With the latest ski technology, technique has changed and the emphasis is now on edge control and weighting. striving for the perfect 'carve'. All skis have a parbolic shape, meaning that they are shaped with various side cuts, making 'carve' skiing far easier and most importantly giving greater edge control. The bindings are designed to position your weight directly over the edge of the ski onto the parabolic or side cut edge allowing you to 'carve' by simply shifting your weight from one edge to the other.

We have 3 different types of ski and snowboard package for adults to hire (ages 12 and above):
- Gold - for good intermediate or advanced skiers
- Silver - for intermediate skiers (parallel turns)
- Bronze - for complete beginners or snowplough skiers
Our packages include skis or snowboard, boots and poles. Bronze does not have a snowboard option.
We have 2 types of ski and snowboard hire for children aged 6 to 11 years to hire.
- Champion - for young advanced skiers.
- Espoir - for young beginners or low intermediates.
Each package includes skis, boots and poles. The Champion package gives you the option of skis or snowboard.
We have ski hire for children from 3 to 5 years inclusive. These will be skis from 70cm to 90 cm in length.
- Minikid- ski package only for very young beginners. Age 3 to 5 years.
To book your ski or snowboard package call us on 020 3004 2661 and tell us what package you would like or ask us if you need advise about which package is right for you and whether you would like to hire skis or a snowboard.
You can either add your choice of package at the time of booking or up to 10 days before you are due to depart. This is so that we can pre-book and guarantee your preferred package.
Last minute bookings
If you book your holiday less than 10 working days before your departure date OR you contact us to book your ski hire package within 10 working days of your departure date, you will need to hire your ski equipment directly with the Skiset Hire shop upon arrival at the resort. This will be subject to availability and costs are likely to be higher.
If you only require skis but not boot hire or vise versa, let us know what grade of skis or boots your require and we can get these booked for you separate from the above packages. We can book ski helmets for your children in advance the cost is £14 per week, just let us know when you are ready to book your children's skis and we will pre-book these for you too.
