Themed Weeks

with professional dance instructors and masseuse in attendance
28 August & 4 September

Popular weeks focused on our guests aged 'thirty-something'. For singles - For friends - For groups.
Don’t worry if you fear your age may not qualify you. We're happy to apply a fair amount of tolerance! So, it doesn’t matter if you’ve just turned 40, or haven’t yet quite made it to 30. You'll still find these weeks a whole lot of fun. (Definitely no under 18s though!).

11 September
with Ben Shaw
What better way to introduce a friend to the good news of the Gospel and the claims of Jesus Christ than on holiday together.

Or perhaps you would like to brush up on the basics. The week-long course informally explores who Jesus was, what His aims were, and what it means to follow Him.  You won't be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you can ask any questions you like.

Or, if you prefer, just come along and listen.

Walking
8 May & 2 October
with Peter Robson & Mike Bibby
Samos has recently been voted one of the most popular destinations for walking in the world. The unspoilt nature of the island means that there are plenty of hidden coves, traditional villages and untouched forests! Our walks on this island take in the rich history visiting the birthplace of Pythagoras as well as Polycrates' tunnel and wall built 2,500 years ago.

Mediterranean Come Dancing
9 October

With Elaine Sanderson
Following a similar format to previous years the focus of these two weeks in the evenings will be our modern Jive lessons.
We also will have the opportunity to try out some other dances, such as some slick 70s Disco moves, Lindy Hop or even the Charleston! The week will be led by our excellent dance teacher, Elaine Sanderson. Don’t miss the opportunity to try out your new steps once the teaching is over. These evenings are a great way to meet new friends and enjoy the warm Mediterranean evenings. Come ready for a load of laughs!

Patmos Explorer
15 May

Perhaps you have visited Patmos on a day trip or with a cruise trip – and would like to really explore the fascinating island that includes the splendid historical site of the Holy Grotto of the Apocalypse, where St. John wrote the Book of Revelation.  You can also visit Chora, the capital of the island and one of the most picturesque towns in the Aegean region.

Chora is host to the Monastery of St. John - where magnificent religious relics are displayed - traditional houses, and a breathtaking view of Skala, the island’s port.  Our three day trip costs £100 per person for a twin room, with a single supplement of £20.  You will travel by Hydrofoil from Pythagorio to Patmos to make the most of your three day visit and will be staying half board in a good hotel with transfers included.

Creative Writing
2 October
With Jane Greyshon

Jane has a vivacious personality and she has brought her sharp sense of humour to her writing, her former broadcasting, and of course to each of the weeks of Creative Writing that she has led for people on holiday. If you know her Confessions of a Vicar’s Wife you will know that she writes in a lighthearted way about some of the moments we humans can take rather too seriously.
