Richmond is delighted to present the well known and marvellously equipped Zefiros Beach Hotel for our flagship waterfront summer resort for 2008.

The superb combination of this excellent hotel with brilliant watersports on an unspoilt Greek island remains a winning combination - so we have increased our allocation for 2008.

The Zefiros Beach Hotel is quite exceptional!  Rooms are very spacious, each with en-suite bathrooms.  The cool blue and white decor is very stylish and all rooms are air-conditioned during July and August.

Public areas include a sophisticated reception, indoor lounge and bar, outdoor terrace, indoor and outdoor restaurants, large pool, separate toddlers pool and pool bar, plus a taverna overlooking the beach.  Tennis court and full, enclosed beach Volley ball court complete a full set of great activites for all the family and all interests.

The whole area is well designed and there is sunbathing space round the pool and plenty of quieter corners for those who are looking for a bit of seclusion

Just five years old and built by its architect owner, the Zefiros Beach Hotel is located on the Mykali Beach with views across to Turkey barely a mile away.

Rooms are arranged on three floors and are very spacious, each with en-suite bathrooms. The balconies are large, and many rooms have a sea view. Unusually for Greece, each features a full size bath. The cool blue and white décor is very stylish and the rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with minibars.

Samos is a charming Greek island which is still relatively unspoilt, very pretty and with genuinely friendly local people.

Situated just off the coast of Turkey, Samos has an illustrious past both in mythology and reality.  The island’s capital is Samos Town, the oldest part of which is known as Vathi. This is a thriving port town about 20 minutes from our hotel, and just over an hour by boat from here is Kusadasi in Turkey.

Pythagorio Village

Pythagorio is undoubtedly one of the prettiest harbour towns in the Med. Here you can sit in a harbourside café with just a few feet of cobbled quayside between you and the fishing boats, yachts and small ferries that use this small harbour.

The village with all its shops and tavernas is just 15 minutes drive from the hotel and we are sure it will become a popular haunt of Richmond clients in the months ahead. The hotel even has a courtesy minibus to help you get around.

Samos benefits from the same wonderful weather pattern of places such as Kos. Most of the summer will see unbroken sunshine, but with the extremes of heat tempered by the strong north westerly wind known as the Meltemi.
