Don’t worry if you fear your age may not qualify you. We're happy to apply a fair amount of tolerance! So, it doesn’t matter if you’ve just turned 40, or haven’t yet quite made it to 30. You'll still find these weeks a whole lot of fun. (Definitely no under 18s though!).

Walking
13 May & 7 October
with David & Yvonne Fairbairn
Our leaders are David and Yvonne Fairbairn, who, as our Resort Manager and Host will be looking after all our guests at the Bali Star this season.
With its contrasting coastlines and magnificent gorges, Crete is a marvellous location for a walking holiday. From the tranquil peace of Spinalonga Island to the rugged Samaria Gorge, we can promise you plenty of exercise and some wonderful photographs.
Our walks have been specially created to seek out areas of interest and natural beauty. In May, there is the added bonus of snow on Mount Ida where - according to legend - Zeus was born in the Cave of Ideon Andron!
Please note that the walk to Samaria gorge is 18km and is certainly not a ramble...definitely a hike! Advice will always be given before setting off, as some rambles are more adventurous walks/hikes!)

Mediterranean Come Dancing

Following a similar format to previous years the focus of these two weeks in the evenings will be our modern Jive lessons.
We also will have the opportunity to try out some other dances, such as some slick 70s Disco moves, Lindy Hop or even the Charleston! The week will be led by our excellent dance teacher, Elaine Sanderson. Don’t miss the opportunity to try out your new steps once the teaching is over. These evenings are a great way to meet new friends and enjoy the warm Mediterranean evenings. Come ready for a load of laughs!
