“This was my first Richmond holiday (but I am sure it won't be my last), you and the staff in the office were very helpful and Kathryn at Travel Counsellors made the booking of flights and parking at the airport easy. The transfers in Turkey went very easily.
The Richmond Resort Staff were fantastic. They were friendly and enthusiastic, they helped to make the holiday special; do please pass on my thanks to them all. I did particularly enjoy Zoe's Pilates classes and do intend to find a class locally and keep it up. The Regattas, canoe trips and other activities were well organised and great fun. The hotel staff were friendly and very patient with my, not very good, attempts at trying Turkish.

I am so glad that I booked on Eileen's photography course, it was a fantastic thing to do and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Eileen was great and so enthusiastic; she has made taking photographs into a whole new experience. My camera is usually out and ready to use now, rather than being kept in a draw and forgotten. Taking photos will never be quite the same again. I would highly recommend it.
I had a wonderful holiday which was just what I needed; I made some good friends who I will stay in touch with and I had a lovely time. God is good and I am so grateful to him for creating such a beautiful place and his timing for a wonderful holiday.

Many thanks to you and all the Richmond Team

Richmond in Israel

20-28 October 2012

We are thrilled to be able to bring you another of our fantastic Israel Tours in 2012. We received some great feedback last year (some of which you can read on the Bible Land Tours 2012 page) and so we would love for more of you to join us in October to enjoy and be inspired by the insightful experience that our tour offers. It really is an eye-opener into the world described in the Gospels and you will no doubt come home with a fresh understanding and knowledge of the scriptures that will grow your faith. Have a look at the details and our itinerary below.

Led by Dave FentonDave Fenton

Dave Fenton is a man of Kent, married to Heather with three sons and seven grandchildren. His working life began as a Maths teacher but after rising to the dizzy heights of Head of Department, he started his full time ministry at Christ Church Fulwood as Childrens and Youth Coordinator. After 12 years Dave and Heather moved south and have just finished 5 great years at Christ Church Winchester as Associate Minister. He still has the same title but it now has an 'Honorary' in front of it. Dave served as a trustee of Keswick Ministries for 12 years and still attends the annual convention helping with various aspects of the programme. He is also on the steering committee of New Word Alive. He has recently published a book on how we make the church relevant for the younger generation.

Dave has recently joined a golf club and is still improving - this is just one aspect of his love for sport as he also serves as a steward at Wimbledon every year. His other passion is military history and strategy about which he knows only a little but is fascinated by it.

Dave's passion is to see the church having a real sense of mission in contemporary society and seeing the Bible taught well and in applicable ways.
